The Venue – Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and University Hospital Düsseldorf

When the CEDA Congress takes place in Düsseldorf at the end of June 2026, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia will become the meeting place for the Central, Eastern and Southeastern European diabetes community for three days.

The congress will take place at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and University Hospital Düsseldorf. All lectures and sessions will be held in the centrally located lecture halls of the MNR Clinic on the hospital campus.

The congress is being organized by the German Diabetes Center (DDZ) at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf – an institution where translational research and clinical application have always been closely intertwined.

For public transport, we recommend using the VRR ticket system or local mobility apps such as DB Navigator or Rheinbahn, which provide real-time route planning and ticket options.

For a smooth and stress-free arrival, we recommend travelling by public transport. Due to high demand, parking options at University Hospital Düsseldorf are limited and public transport offers the most convenient access to the venue.

Düsseldorf is a city where business, science and lifestyle come together. As one of Europe’s leading economic and innovation hubs, it offers an outstanding infrastructure, international connectivity and a strong academic and medical ecosystem. In summer, the city unfolds its full charm along the Rhine, creating the ideal atmosphere for high-level exchange, meaningful networking and fresh perspectives beyond the congress sessions.
